GLOVES:   6.5 Micro Indicator/6.5 Micro  

Anesthesia:   General or By Choice  

PREP:   Hibclens. Chloprep for Donor Site

POSITION:   SUPINE, Patient on Stretcher if possible, Rolling Hand Table, Tourniquet with “10 x 10” around Tourniquet, Extremity Drape, Sitting Stools

MEDICATIONS: 0.9% NACL IRRIGATION

30 ML 1% LIDOCAINE with Epinephrine add to 70 ml of Injectable Saline (A solution to tumescent the skin graft donor site)

Mineral Oil  

INSTRUMENTS: Lead Hand or Tupper Hand Retractor Do not Open, Plastic Surgery Tray

EQUIPMENT:   Zimmer Dermatome, Dermatome Blade and 3 inch Guard, Zimmer Skin Mesher and 1 x 1.5 Skin Graft Carrier

HALF SHEET

Skin Stapler

Extremity Drape

Ray-Tech

LIGHT HANDLE COVER

15 BLADE (2)

60 CC SYRINGE (1)

20 or 18 gauge Spinal Needle

TOURNIQUET 18”

Bovie

4” ESMARK (OPEN, STERILE)

4” WEBRIL (UNDER TOURNIQUET) if needed

SUTURES: 4.0-Chromatic SH

Stapler  

3.0 Silk Pop Off Sutures -Do Not Open.

DRESSINGS:   Skin Graft: 1. Adaptic and Wound Vac if requested or 2. Xeforom, Cotton Bolster (Ask), Mastisol, 4×4 Gauze, 4” Kerlex, and 4” ACE Wrap x 2

Donor Site:  Xeroform, 4×4 Gauze, ABD Pads, 4” Kerlex, and 4” ACE Wrap x 2
