Occupational Therapist

About

Sammi is a dedicated and highly motivated occupational therapist specializing in hand therapy and upper extremity rehabilitation. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, she developed an early appreciation for movement, function, and an active lifestyle with values that continue to influence her approach to patient care.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, building a strong foundation in human movement and biomechanics. Sammi went on to complete her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Midwestern University, where she further developed her clinical skills and passion for helping individuals regain independence and return to the activities they enjoy most.

Sammi currently practices at Arizona Center for Hand to Shoulder Surgery, where she works closely with patients recovering from a wide range of upper extremity injuries and surgeries. She is passionate about combining evidence-based treatment with a patient-centered approach to maximize function, reduce pain, and support long-term recovery.

Outside of the clinic, Sammi also teaches group fitness classes, blending her love of movement and wellness with her dedication to helping others live healthier lives. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and staying active outdoors.
